The controversy surrounding Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s marriage has taken a fresh turn after the latter claimed that the actor was planning to marry again, prompting his manager to strongly deny the allegations. The star wife made the claims during a phone conversation with Rakhi Sawant, which was recorded by the paparazzi. She said she withdrew her divorce petition after learning about the actor’s alleged plans for a second marriage.
Govinda’s manager denies second marriage claims
In a conversation with India Today, Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, dismissed the claims and expressed shock over Sunita Ahuja’s statements. He said, “I am hearing this from you. Aisa kuch nahi hai aur nahi hoga. Koi dusri shaadi nahi ho rahi (There’s nothing like that, and it won’t happen. There is no second marriage happening). She is his wife, and there must be something going on in her mind that she made those claims.”Sinha further pointed out that had Govinda genuinely wanted to end the marriage or remarry, he would have filed for divorce himself. Instead, Sunita was the one who filed the divorce petition before later deciding to withdraw it.
Govinda’s manager urges Sunita Ahuja to think of the kids
In the same conversation, Sinha added, “They are both mature people, and while Govinda has never spoken a word against Sunita in public, she has been the one washing dirty linen out. I am sure they both want the best for themselves and their children. We don’t know what came over her that she took the decision back, but we can hope that things iron out. It’s also for the betterment of the kids, for they really get affected by all this negativity.”
Govinda’s manager calls the actor a responsible citizen
On a concluding note, Shashi Sinha said Govinda is a responsible and respectable member of society who would never do anything to harm his public image. He clarified that Govinda has only tried to make Sunita understand the consequences of her actions but has never spoken against her.The manager also reiterated that there had never been any talks of a second marriage and that the actor currently wants to focus solely on his work.
