When is Amarnath Yatra 2026: Complete Schedule

The Amarnath Yatra 2026 will begin from July 3 and end on August 28. This Yatra will continue for 57 days. These dates are taken from Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB). The yatra usually concludes on Raksha Bandhan, when the sacred mace, Chhari Mubarak, arrives at the cave. Check out the below mentioned schedule:

Amarnath Yatra 2026: How to register?

1. Open google and visit the official SASB portal at jksasb.nic.in or you can also download the SASB mobile app.2. Create an account on that site and fill all the details mentioned in the registration form.3. You should also upload a valid photo ID (Aadhaar), a passport-size photograph, and your compulsory health certificate (CHC).4. Select your route (Baltal or Pahalgam) along with your travelling dates. 5. After completing all the details, now you need to pay the 150 fee online and download your Yatra Card.

What is Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC)

The CHC for 2026 must be granted on or after April 8, 2026, include the applicant’s photo, and be signed by a licensed physician. State-by-state lists of approved physicians and facilities are posted on the SASB’s website.

Amarnath Helicopter Booking 2026: Details

Devotees, who do not want a long trek, they can opt for helicopter services as they fly between the base camps and Panchtarni that reduces the time of a long trek. The last six kilometers to the cave from Panchtarni are still reached by foot, horseback, or palki; no helicopter touches down at the cave.
