Sankashti Chaturthi holds an immense religious and spiritual significance among Hindus. According to Hindu scriptures, Chaturthi is the most beloved tithi of Lord Ganesha that makes it more special and devotees offer their sincere prayers to Lord Ganesha. Pradyumna Chaturthi 2026: Puja Rituals
1. Devotees who observe Chaturthi fast should wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath. 2. Clean the space where you want to set up an altar. 3. Place an idol of Lord Ganesha on a wooden plank, spread a yellow or red cotton cloth and light a diya with desi ghee. 4. Invoke the idol by chanting Ganesha mantras, offer durva grass, flowers and incense stick and other sacred items.5. Offer boondi laddo, modaks and five seasonal fruits and dry fruits to Lord Ganesha. 6. Chant Ganesha Atharvashirsha for removing the obstacles and seek his blessings. 7. Complete the Ganesha puja by reciting the Ganesha aarti.
